Hair from the occipital or back region is removed and transferred to areas of hair loss in the form of micro and mini grafts

PROCEDURE
Follicular Unit Transfer (FUT) and Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) are the two common procedure types. A strip graft harvested from the occipital or back region is made into micro (1-2 hair follicles) and mini (3-4 hair follicles) grafts under magnification. These grafts are then transferred into the recipient sides. The hair shafts fall off in 2-3 weeks time and after 4-6 months time, the growth can be observed.

- Swelling may be observed on the upper part of the face usually. It subsides in 3-7 days time.
